ESSENTIAL SKILLS IN TIMES OF CRISIS

The nature and size of an SME often results in higher business volatility, when compared to an MNC. It also means that an SME business will go through many more crises, both internal and external, in the course of its growth. In this program, SME leaders will develop skills which can be essential in times of crisis.

High Performance Teams

When it comes to running a small business, no single entrepreneur can make it alone.  In this session, we will look at the power of teams and investigate the role of a leader in creating the environment in which the whole is always more profitable than the sum of the parts.

Coaching, Mentorship, and Talent Management

Following on from the previous module on Teamwork, this session introduces practical frameworks for building teams through coaching, mentorship and Talent Management.

Organizational Influence We will explore the use and control of power through politics and influence focusing on how a small business owner can leverage simple tools to improve their ability to drive change.

Negotiation skills for vendors and clients

We will review win-win models of negotiation where creativity, simple tools and persistence can help turn stressful and emotionally draining bargaining into a positive and innovative process of collaboration
