How to access in LINC 

When the papers arrive in the HSSML, four to five of them are accumulated and bound as one volume. The bound volumes are placed on 3rd Floor at our Bound Periodicals collection. It is indicated as "HL Bnd Periodical" in our LINC catalogue. Each series of the research papers given to us are catalogue this way :

Each issue has a distinctive title.

Please note the series title is recorded as the title. The title of each individual research paper is not indicated. Neither is each individual author indicated. Please also note that the research paper series has a generic call number. For example, all Aston University Aston Business School's research papers are under call number HD30 RPSA.  Another example is Lund University Institute of Economic Research's working paper series which has the call number HB31 WPSL.

How to Search in HSSML 

Based on the above record, users accessing these exchange paper series need to know the following to start of with : 

The full name of the university. For example, Lund University Institute of Economic Research. However, if they do not know the full name but just Lund University, the user would have to browse through all  entries that begin with Lund University. For example, Lund University.  Dept of Linguistics, Lund University Dept of Sociology, etc. 
The series title. For example, Discussion Paper Series, Working Papers Series, Research Paper Series, etc. 
The research paper series number. For example, RP9826 or 1996-1, etc. 
With the above information, the users will be able to check LINC under the Author option for the university name and the Title option for the series title.
